GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions of Sale (“T&Cs”) apply to all purchases of tickets (passes), add-ons, activities, or services (collectively, the “Products”) offered by Moonlight Conventions in connection with events it organizes or co-organizes.

By purchasing any Product, the buyer fully and unconditionally agrees to these T&Cs.

3. Products - Tickets, Passes & Add-Ons

3.1 Tickets / Passes

A valid event pass is required for entry. No refunds will be issued for add-ons purchased without a valid entry pass.
All passes are personalized and issued in the attendee’s name. They may not be resold or transferred without prior written approval from Moonlight Conventions.
The price of the pass is the price displayed at the time of purchase.
Installment payment plans may be offered in certain cases. Ownership of the pass is confirmed only once full payment has been received.

3.2 Add-Ons / Optional Activities

Add-ons (photo ops, autographs, private sessions, etc.) may only be purchased in conjunction with a valid event pass.
Add-ons may only be used by the individual whose name appears on the associated pass/ticket.
Unauthorized resale or transfer of add-ons is strictly prohibited and may result in denial of access to the event without refund.

4. Payment Terms

All payments are processed online through the ticketing platform provided.
If an installment plan is selected, a payment schedule will be issued. Failure to make a scheduled payment may result in cancellation of the purchase without refund of amounts already paid.
The applicable T&Cs are those in effect at the time of purchase.

5. Event Admission

To collect a pass/ticket, attendees must present: A valid government-issued photo ID, their electronic ticket or proof of purchase
Attendees must wear the wristband or identification badge provided throughout the duration of the event.
Access to certain activities (add-ons) may require additional proof of purchase.
The organizer reserves the right to deny entry to anyone who fails to present a valid pass or required identification.

6. Cancellation, Postponement & Refund Policy

6.1 Cancellation or Postponement by the Organizer

If Moonlight Conventions cancels the event, passes and add-ons will be refunded unless otherwise specified.
If the event is postponed, all passes and add-ons will automatically transfer to the new date. If an attendee cannot attend the rescheduled date, they may request a refund under the conditions provided at that time.
In the event of force majeure (including but not limited to pandemics, natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), Moonlight Conventions shall not be held liable. In such cases, the ticket holder remains responsible for the cost of the pass and activities; however, a credit for a future event may be offered.

6.2 Cancellation or changes by the Participant

Unless otherwise stated, all pass and add-on purchases are final and non-refundable. No cancellations or refunds will be granted at the participant’s request except in cases expressly provided for in these T&Cs.

7. Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to Article L.121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, event tickets are not subject to a statutory withdrawal or cooling-off period. Returns, exchanges, or refunds are only available under the conditions outlined in Section 6.

8. Image Rights – Photography – Recording

By attending the event, participants grant Moonlight Conventions permission to use their image (photographs and video recordings) for promotional purposes unless a written objection is submitted in advance.
Recording sessions (photo, video, or audio) is strictly prohibited unless otherwise stated. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.

9. Participant Responsibilities – Liability

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. Moonlight Conventions shall not be liable for loss or theft.
Participants agree to comply with event rules, scheduled time slots, and seating policies (open or assigned seating depending on pass type). Failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund.
The organizer is not responsible for a participant’s inability to attend or complete an activity due to personal circumstances (e.g., delays, transportation issues, or poor internet connection in the case of virtual events).

10. Ticketing – Changes to Venue or Schedule

The event venue and/or schedule may be modified at any time prior to or during the event.
No refunds will be issued for changes to venue or schedule unless the event is fully canceled.
Participants are encouraged to plan their departure times accordingly to avoid missing scheduled activities.

11. Intellectual Property

All visual elements, logos, text, and content associated with the website and the event are the property of Moonlight Conventions or are used under license. Any full or partial reproduction without authorization is strictly prohibited.

12. Amendments to the Terms & Conditions

Moonlight Conventions reserves the right to modify these T&Cs at any time. Updated versions apply to purchases made after their publication online. Participants are advised to retain a copy for their records.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, and after reasonable efforts to reach an amicable resolution, exclusive jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts within the jurisdiction of Moonlight Conventions’ registered office.
